I’m Nandhini Sundaram, a Transformation Coach and recovering People-Pleaser

I have been a people-pleaser for most of my life and know first hand how exhausting it can be. Having worked in advertising for nearly 20 years, it was my job to make sure my clients were happy. While my people-pleasing tendencies were helpful early in my career, as I got promoted and started working with more clients and peers, and leading more team members, the need to please everyone became overwhelming. I was stressed out and anxious all the time, had trouble sleeping during the work week, and was in a constant state of fatigue.  I had no energy for friends or family, let alone having hobbies.  I knew I needed something to change, but I didn’t know where to begin.  

After years of self-reflection and working with teachers and coaches, I learned to let go of the people-pleasing behaviors and beliefs that were holding me back from a more balanced and purposeful life. Even though I’m still in recovery, and likely always will be, I was still able to find a new sense of power and authenticity that I didn’t think I would ever have.
